“Hidden Greens” Oats


Ingredients

3/4 cup of oats

1 cup coconut or almond milk

Pinch of Himalayan salt

1/2 medium zucchini (courgette), finely shredded or grated

1/2 cup spinach leaves, finely shredded

1 Tbsp almond butter

Optional scoop of protein powder

1 tbs sweet freedom syrup or honey

Instructions

1) In a saucepan, bring oats, the pinch of salt and almond/coconut milk on the stove.

2) When most of the milk has been absorbed, stir through the shredded zucchini and spinach and oncecombined stir in the cacao powder.

3) Reduce the heat down and warm through for a further 3-4 minutes and then remove from the heat.

4) If using the protein powder and sweetener, stir these in now and then pour into your serving bowl.

Top with almond butter and serve.
